1. CONTROLLER

The controller responsible for processing personal data in connection with this website is:

game solution ag
Wilhelmstrasse 6
CH-8005 Zurich, Switzerland
+41 43 366 62 20
info@gamesolution.ch

For any data-protection matters you can reach us at the address above or by e-mail at info@gamesolution.ch.

2. SCOPE AND PRINCIPLES

This policy applies to the website gamesolution.ch and describes which personal data we process, for which purposes and how. We process personal data in accordance with the revised Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (revFADP) and, where applicable, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). We limit processing to what is necessary for the respective purpose.

3. WHAT DATA WE PROCESS AND WHY

When you visit the website. On each access, the server automatically records technical data (including a shortened IP address, date and time, the page requested, and browser and operating-system information). This data serves secure operation, error analysis and anonymous statistics (see section 7).

When you contact us. If you use our contact form, write to us or call us, we process the data you provide (e.g. name, company, e-mail address, telephone number and the content of your enquiry) in order to answer your enquiry and handle any resulting business relationship. In the course of ongoing support we record your contact details and the key points of our exchange in our CRM system in order to maintain and follow up on the relationship (see section 5).

When you book a meeting. To book a call via our website we use the service Cal.com. The data you enter (name, e-mail address, preferred time) is processed to organise the meeting (see sections 5 and 6).

As a prospect or client. We also process contact data that we obtain outside this website, for example from personal exchanges, at events, through referrals or from publicly accessible sources such as professional networks (e.g. LinkedIn). We use this data (e.g. name, role, company, business contact details) to initiate and maintain business relationships, and we record it for this purpose in our CRM system (see section 5). Where the GDPR applies, the legal basis is our legitimate interest in maintaining business contacts.

4. LEGAL BASES

Where the GDPR applies, we base processing on the performance of a contract or pre-contractual measures (Art. 6(1)(b)), on our legitimate interest in a secure and user-friendly web presence (Art. 6(1)(f)) and, where relevant, on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a)). Under the revFADP, the processing described here does not require separate consent.

5. DISCLOSURE TO THIRD PARTIES

We do not sell your personal data. To provide our services we use carefully selected service providers (processors) that process personal data on our behalf and on our instructions. These include:

Disclosure to further third parties takes place only where required by law or necessary to protect our rights.

6. DISCLOSURE ABROAD

The website is hosted in Switzerland (Hostpoint AG). Some of the other service providers process data outside Switzerland, generally within the EU/EEA (Cal.com, Microsoft, Pipedrive). These countries provide a level of data protection that is adequate from a Swiss perspective. Where data is transferred to countries without adequate data protection, we ensure appropriate protection through suitable safeguards, in particular the Standard Contractual Clauses of the EU Commission or the FDPIC.

7. WEB ANALYTICS WITH MATOMO

We use the analytics software Matomo, which we operate ourselves on our own infrastructure. The data is stored exclusively with us and is not passed on to third parties. Matomo does not set cookies. IP addresses are anonymised (shortened) before storage. We delete raw data after 12 months and retain aggregated statistics beyond that. Because no cookies are set and no data is transferred abroad, no consent is required for this analysis. The data is not combined with any other data sources.

8. COOKIES

Our website is designed to operate with minimal data. We do not set cookies for audience measurement (see section 7). Strictly necessary cookies may in individual cases be set to operate the website or embedded services (e.g. meeting booking); these are required for functionality and do not need consent.

9. RETENTION

We retain personal data only for as long as necessary for the respective purposes or as required by statutory retention obligations. We keep enquiries and business correspondence for the duration of processing and beyond, within the applicable statutory periods (for business-relevant records generally up to 10 years). We delete raw analytics data after 12 months (see section 7).

10. DATA SECURITY

We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against unauthorised access, loss and misuse. Data transmission on our website is encrypted (TLS/HTTPS).

11. YOUR RIGHTS

Within the scope of applicable law, you have in particular the right to:

An informal message to info@gamesolution.ch is sufficient to exercise these rights. We may request proof to verify your identity. These rights are subject to statutory conditions and limitations.

You also have recourse to the courts. The competent supervisory authority in Switzerland is the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC), www.edoeb.admin.ch.

12. CHANGES

We may amend this privacy policy at any time. The version published on this website at the relevant time applies.
